Talent Recap is the only independent website and Social Media network that is exclusively dedicated to the fans of the most popular talent shows around the world. As passionate fans of these shows ourselves, we provide news and analysis on America’s Got Talent, Britain’s Got Talent, The Voice, The Masked Singer, The Four, The X Factor, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Bring the Funny, the judges, and its contestants.

Launched in 2017, the website seeks to develop a platform for fans of similar interests across the globe, to read, watch, discuss, engage and share their passion with fellow fans while having fun in the process!

Talent Recap’s main hub is our website at talentrecap.com. However, we have developed a great following on other social media platforms. We have approximately 3.5 million followers on Facebook and more than 10 million subscribers on YouTube.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Talent Recap is looking for a full time Video Editor Associate for our YouTube Channel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and a strong understanding of YouTube’s content requirements and trends. This role involves crafting engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and resonates with our audience.

Talent Recap covers all the latest episodes, news and recaps of all the worldwide Talent Shows.

To be considered for the job, please include links to 5 individual show acts (must be the original source) that you find to be the most inspiring and explain why.

Daily tasks include:

  • Edit and assemble footage into polished videos for Youtube, ensuring high visual quality and storytelling coherence.
  • Stay updated on YouTube trends, audience preferences, analytics, and platform changes to optimize video content accordingly.
  • Implement visual effects, transitions, graphics, and audio enhancements to elevate the quality of the videos.
  • Manage and organize video assets, maintaining an efficient workflow for timely delivery of content.
  • Compilation Video editing

Skills needed:

  • Super strong editing skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment (2-10 videos daily)
  • Flexible and agile team player
  • Upbeat and positive personality
  • Growth focused and ability to adapt

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
