RMS are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity for a Video Editor to join their client who are based in Stockton-On-Tees.
As a Health and Safety Video Editor, you will play a critical role in producing compelling and informative videos that address various aspects of workplace safety. You will be responsible for editing and enhancing raw footage to create engaging safety training videos that resonate with our clients and their employees.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and select the most relevant and effective footage for safety training videos.
- Manage staging, editing, title scoring and post-production for video projects.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance the educational value of the videos.
- Integrate video footage, animation, sound, and music while maintaining a consistent style/feel.
- Collaborate closely with our content and software experts to understand project goals and safety guidelines.
- Maintain organised video files and assets, ensuring easy access for future reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video production.
- Ensure that final videos meet quality standards and align with the client’s brand and safety messaging.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
As an ideal candidate, you should have:
- Proficient in video editing software and the Adobe suite of tools, including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
- Strong understanding of video composition, colour correction, and audio editing.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Exploration of generative AI to assist production methods/outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with an experienced team.
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex safety concepts visually.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
