How this position fits at Scrapbook.com:

As a contracted Video Editor and Media Specialist, you will work remotely and be paid on a project basis. The mission of the Scrapbook.com Video Editor and Media Specialist is to edit video and other media for various marketing media needs.

Core priorities are as follows:

Will edit all video content for Scrapbook.com (video platform, YouTube series, Vimeo, product overviews, social media videos, livestreams, SBC Fests, commercials and more).

Will leverage advanced editing techniques to produce enticing visual content that captivates, teaches, inspires and empowers our core demographic.

Will think of the target customer demographic and strategically splice and repurpose video footage or add helpful b-roll/text when needed as needed.

Will fill requests to edit video content for Paid Advertising that leads to conversions and high ROAS.

Will continually cultivate up-to-date knowledge about videography, editing styles and applications; and drive improvements/changes based on industry changes/success (with ROI in mind).

Will take on other jobs as assigned.

Your Capabilities:

Collaboration – will work closely with, and take direction from, manager and team members for art-direction, tone, stylizing and overall execution of media needs that drive company priorities.

Non-Defensive Learner – is happy to receive constructive feedback from all team members and has the patience to get it right, time and time again.

Director and Producer – encourages video personalities to get the best content and delivery during filming/recording and edits videos and audio for professional and polished outcomes.

Time Management – has the ability to effectively manage a variety of video priorities, to-dos and fluidly jumps to higher priority projects and deadlines as needed.

You Meet the Following Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-7+ years of professional video and editing experience in a business environment.
  • Proficient utilizing Sony and Canon equipment.
  • Proficient with Premiere Pro or Final Cut software.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A passion for paper crafting preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Contract
