Salesforce Marketing is looking for a skilled Video Editor who will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing on production and post-production video deliverables at Salesforce. Projects will range from videos for customer sales and solutions, sales enablement, leadership and internal communications, event coverage/highlights, promos/sizzles, and product demos. Success in this role requires a proactive, communicative, and strong work ethic, flexibility and grace under pressure, multitasking, strong attention to detail, and a passion for crafting stories through editing. You will need to have an opinion whether it’s in the conference room, in the edit room, or on your timeline, and be able to work with confidence and a collaborative spirit. We’re scaling and growing and you will be a big part of it. By supporting our marketing team, you will have direct impact on winning new business by providing innovative and creative video solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Editing a high volume of video content supporting Marketing Initiatives that drive revenue for our company
  • Editing single and multicam interviews, green screen shoots, b-roll content, and customer footage
  • Editing Product Demos
  • Editing music and sound to complement and enhance video content
  • Ability to manage your calendar while editing a high volume of content from multiple sources quickly, within scope, and to the creative brief
  • Pull selects from raw footage and create solid rough cuts with minimal supervision or direction
  • Work closely with Producers and Creative Directors to craft compelling customer stories
  • You know your way around a timeline and must be comfortable leading live working sessions with multiple creative opinions and do so with confidence and collaboration
  • Experience in finishing including color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics and visual effects
  • Comfortable interacting with stakeholders ranging from internal teams, to account executives, to C-Levels, to customers and having the ability to communicate requirements of the project clearly
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues that arise within the editing software, editorial suites, and the MAM preferred
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices related to editing and post-production workflow and process
  • Drive consistency and brand alignment across our video platform
  • Be an anchor to our production and post-production teams and lead by example
  • Highly self-motivated and experience working in a fast paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment

Experience/Skills Requires

  • BA/BS or equivalent in Film/Video or Multimedia
  • 3-5 years of professional editing experience required with demo reel to support
  • Deep knowledge and professional experience editing in Adobe Premiere required
  • Working knowledge and experience using Adobe After Effects to create motion graphics and visual effects (keying, compositing, image cleanup)
  • Comfortable working in DaVinci Resolve, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of codecs, transcoding, and ingest best practices
  • Experience working in a SAN/NAS environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of live/streaming workflow and equipment (Tricaster or equivalent) a huge plus
  • Production, field, and on-set experience preferred with working knowledge of gear including cameras, drones, Steadicam, gimbals, field/studio audio and lighting, a plus

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $80,700 to $111,000.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $88,100 to $121,100.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
