  • Optimize content for use on multiple social media platforms and work closely with social media manager to upload and manage posts while ensuring content meets brand standards and business / project needs.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and best practices for optimizing video content and thumbnails to maximize viewer engagement.
  • Work closely with owner/creator to ensure video and photo content is aligned with his creative vision, and proactively coordinate delivery and revisions of content.
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, from start to finish, often with quick turnaround and tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with owner/creator and social media manager to create compelling and creative concepts and campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in video editing and provide recommendations for new and innovative ways to visually engage target audience.
  • Manage, organize and back up all raw video and photo footage.
  • Edit and prepare photo images for print and sale.
  • Manage footage and image licensing.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a video/photo editor.
  • Demonstrated experience with major video and photo editing software: Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects), Davinci Resolve.
  • Strong creative and technical skill in storytelling, composition and pacing.
  • Very strong color correcting and grading skills.
  • Proactive and creative mindset and solid problem solving skills.
  • Strong communicator with ability to collaborate with a team.

If you’re a creative thinker with a passion for video and photo editing and are excited about creating engaging content for social media platforms, please submit your resume and portfolio of work. We are looking to hire someone ASAP and we’d love to hear from you!
