Role Description This is a part-time remote Video Editor role at Live Vitae. The Video Editor will be responsible for creating viral and high-quality videos from raw footage, organizing and archiving video assets, and working collaboratively with the content team to produce video content that aligns with the brand’s vision and values. The Video Editor will also need to be comfortable working with a variety of software and tools, and staying up to date with new trends in video editing and production. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in video editing and production Experience with video editing for social media – short formats. (Position from previous work literally says “video editor”) Speak and understand English. Familiar with creating viral content. Familiar with using Collect or Dropbox to send files. Initiative and think outside the box to create good engagement. Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar Able to edit or use CAPTIONS or edit using Instagram. Strong knowledge of video concepts such as pacing, transitions, color grading, sound mixing, and post-production techniques Ability to organize and archive video assets in a logical and efficient manner Excellent communication and collaboration skills with other creative teams Experience working with motion graphics, animation, and visual effects is a plus Portfolio displaying samples of previously edited and produced video content is required Please send samples of previous work as well as CV to me (on Messenger/IG)
