Background… Here at Who’s Listening we are a full-service marketing agency who specialise in social media and websites. We’ve been in business for 18 months and in this period have seen some great growth, allowing us to work with a variety of businesses across lots of different sectors. To support this, we are now looking grow our team by adding a hungry and ambitious individual, so we can put ourselves in the best position for what will hopefully be an exciting 2024. We work from home, with monthly company events alongside content days with our clients to make sure that we still see each other (not just through our screens!). The role In brief… This role will be based around creating content (both video and static) for our clients across a variety of different platforms such as social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.), websites, brochures, leaflets and much more. The role will also involve you speaking to clients in order to understand their requirements and gain feedback, as well as visiting clients to shoot content (video and photography) alongside other team members when required – this content will then be edited/optimised for each suitable platform. There will also be various opportunities to get involved with other areas of the business if you are interested – such as paid promotion, SEO and websites. Responsible for… Visiting clients to help create content (video and photography) with the team. Editing video content for different platforms. Creating branded static graphics for clients and our in-house team. Contributing ideas for content calendars prior to approval from clients. Collaborating with the in-house team to create content for clients. Managing positive relationships with clients via email, WhatsApp, telephone/Zoom and face-to-face meetings in the North East and beyond (when required). Taking and understanding briefs from clients before creating the requested collateral. Maintaining accurate records of work and completing monthly reports for clients. You may also be asked to… Write captions and schedule content onto client’s social media channels. Help manage client’s social platforms by answering comments/messages, engaging with followers etc. Perform outreach on behalf of clients. Do market research to help identify opportunities for growth within our existing clients. Work with the rest of the team on new business activities where relevant. Research and write blogs on behalf of the company and our clients. Essential skills & experience… In order to complete this role, you will need to have the below skills and experience… Video editing skills on Adobe Premiere Pro or similar. Graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Knowledge of how social media works for businesses (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest – all channels). Experience using a camera (phone and/or camera) to shoot content. Organised, with strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills. English language is incredibly important, so exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written. Ability to understand and interpret a brand’s tone of voice. Outgoing and confident. Ability to multi-task and juggle various projects for clients. A team player – experience working as part of a team. Pro-active, continually learn and develop for both personal and professional growth. Self-starter – essential when working from home. Driving licence – to allow you to visit clients in-person. In return… Alongside the opportunity for fast progression within the business as we grow, we will also offer the successful candidate the following: Initial starting salary of £18,000 – £22,000 DOE.
