Duties:Film and edit ministry services, event promos, devotions, etc. Fine tuning the scripts for videos and prepping them for the teleprompter.Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the ministries vision – Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience – Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film – Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects – Create rough and final cuts – Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video – Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiencyEnsure the timely editing of the ministry services, and promo videos and upload to the church website, the app and other applications.Other responsibilities:· Be responsible for the live streaming of ministry services on Sundays (Twice a month 2.5 hours per Sunday)· TriCaster: serve on the tech arts team on the TriCaster which supports in service video relaying. (Will train on this.) (Sunday- 1 service per month)· Provide tech support for the ministry website and app.· Requires Sunday availability for our first service live stream broadcast. (At least twice a month.)· This position will be the point of contact when we have some technical issues that need weekday assistance to troubleshoot and contact the needed vendors for resolution.Qualifications: – Proven work experience as a Video Editor – Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages such as Adobe Premier Pro – Demonstrable video editing ability – Knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity – Willing to learn special effects, 3D, and compositing – Creative mind and storytelling skills – Attention to detail – Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Preferred Skills: – Experience in video production or related field – Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, photography, graphic design – Experience with Adobe PremiereAverage hours 11-14 hours per week depending on the season. (Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday)· 8 – 10 hours during the weekdays. Tuesday (4 hours) – Thursday (4-6 hours each day). (Filming day may be later to accommodate my volunteer leaders)· Sundays – average, 2.5 -3 hours to learn live stream, and cover this role twice month. And once a month on the Tri-caster.citlchurches.orgJob Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 8 – 14 per weekSchedule:Weekends as neededAbility to commute/relocate:Eliot, ME: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Adobe Premiere: 2 years (Required)Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Required)Work Location: In person
