Become a part of our team and bring your Funner spirit along with you! As a Videographer/Editor, you’ll be responsible for the quality of multimedia content released by Harrah’s Rincon. Must be able to handle a project independently from idea-to-completion and tell a visually compelling story with creative editing and sound. The ideal candidate can edit and shoot footage according to scripts, storyboards, or loose guidelines. This person should be a collaborative worker and enjoy a fast paced, creative environment. Our ideal candidate: 2-4 years of editing experience highly desired VERY comfortable working knowledge of the Mac platform Expert in Adobe Production Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Encore Proficient in Apple Final Cut Studio: Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack, Motion, Color Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Effective verbal and written communication skills with technical/non-technical audiences Ability to work well within a team environment. Work quickly and meet deadlines. About the role: Shoot and produce digital video both in-studio and on-site. Drive video projects through the post-production process to achieve best-in-class product. Coordinate with Creative and Marketing on multiple video projects. Design and produce multimedia and web graphics for use in different media vehicles. Attend and participate in creative and planning meetings. Collaborate with marketing department management to create scripts and storyboards. Source materials including stock imagery, photos, video clips and audio sources. Create graphics, compose 3D and animation used for final production. Take ownership of and execute projects with pre-defined creative vision. Evaluate existing video content and identify areas of technical or editorial improvement. Drive all aspects of the video post-production process – from ingesting footage following a shoot to exporting for final delivery. Edit from scratch, relying on creative instincts and industry best-practices. Study scripts to become familiar with production concepts and requirements. Select and combine the most effective shots to tell a logical and smoothly running story. Determine the specific audio and visual effects necessary to complete a project. Collaborate with agency resources concerning layout or editing approaches needed to increase dramatic or entertainment value of projects. Manage HD video workflow across formats, locations, and delivery stages. Experience with branded video and client feedback Experience working with tight deadlines. Support the work of an external editing partners or post-production houses. Manage file storage, categorizing and archiving for all projects. Consult with the director, producer and/or marketing department head throughout post-production. Experiment with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements. Salary: $60k- $68k per year, depending on experience The above is a minimal description of duties and responsibilities.
