NFL Legends Brian Urlacher & Ron “Jaws” Jaworski are hosting their 14th annual Ditka & Jaws Cigars with the Stars Party on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at The M Resort Spa Casino, 12300 Las Vegas Blvd S, Henderson, NV. The event benefits 2 amazing charities – Mike Ditka’s Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund & Ron’s Jaws Youth Playbook. This event draws over 1000 guests – which includes 200+ NFL Alumni, current players, & celebrities! Guests have the opportunity to rub shoulders with our VIP’s, as well as enjoy cigars from the industry’s top brands, Premium open bar, hor d’oeuvres, Red Carpet entrance, music, silent auction, and so much more! This is one of the biggest & best events of Super Bowl week! We are looking for Volunteer Photographers & Videographers to help us capture the magic of the night, while at the same time building their resume. Responsibilities To be on-site during the specified times; to take photos/videos as outlined in the shot list to be provided; to take photos/video of the ambiance of the evening; provide the charities with digital copies of the photos (10 best at event end; the rest within 5 days); provide the charities with video footage of the event – raw footage as well as a sizzle reel of the highlights (list to be provided). Qualifications Photography/Videographer Skills: Proficiency in using a DSLR or mirrorless camera and various lenses and/or video cameras. Knowledge of composition, lighting, and exposure techniques. The ability to capture high-quality images in a variety of settings and conditions. Equipment: Access to professional-grade camera/video equipment, including backup cameras and lenses. Lighting equipment for outdoor, indoor, and low-light situations. Tripods, monopods, and other essential accessories. Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your event photography work. A variety of event types (weddings, corporate events, sports, etc.) in your portfolio. Technical Skills: Proficiency in post-processing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) to edit and retouch photos/edit videos. The ability to deliver photos in various formats (RAW, JPEG, etc.) and sizes. People Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, event organizers, and subjects. The ability to direct and pose individuals or groups for portrait shots. Time Management: Effective time management to ensure you capture key moments during an event and meet deadlines for delivering edited photos. Adaptability: The ability to adapt to different event environments and lighting conditions. Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges. Professionalism: A professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients and guests. The ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
