WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a Social Media Videographer with a fantastic creative instinct and passion for content creation. Top 3 Must Have: Strong editing skills Experienced Creating Content – Comfortable on-camera Knowledge of all social platforms WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE Support the Social Media Manager and the Social Media Associate Manager in content creation and development alongside the Creative team Assist in managing community management accounts within (but not limited to) Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Stay up to date with DECIEM’s product knowledge, company information, launches and campaigns Engage, maintain, and develop professional relations with customers Maintain and administer the brand voice throughout all communications Assist with customer queries across all platforms Coordinate Social Media Campaigns as required Adhere to company policies, social media rules and regulations Stay on top of social media trends and pitch ideas to increase engagement Help to develop and maintain our social media content calendar Experience making TikToks/Reels (including editing, and knowledge of the TikTok platform) Monitor and report on trending videos and audios on TikTok/Reels to assist in content creation and development SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE Experience making TikToks/Reels (including editing, and knowledge of the TikTok platform) is required A love for creating content, and comfortable speaking to the camera is required Video editing skills, including proficiency in PremierePro and/or Final Cut Pro required Comfortable live streaming Knowledge of current events and pop culture Knowledge and proficiency in all current social platforms Demonstrate social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge Knowledge of SEO / Marketing tools is an asset Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both oral and written, and ability to work with all levels of staff and Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word MS PowerPoint, etc.) Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in social media or in a similar field is an asset BA in Communications, Marketing, Business, or Public Relations is an asset WHAT YOU’LL BE GAINING BY JOINING OUR TEAM There’s a lot of good stuff that comes along with being a DECIEM team member.
