Talented creator wanted — with a strong skillset in video and graphic design — to support Blue Q’s offbeat brand and growing catalog of products. We’re looking for a sharp problem solver with a track record of creating work that connects with people and builds an audience. This person should possess a sense of humor, and a natural gift for rapid-fire, ultra-clever idea development. Technical capabilities are essential, and dexterity in the Adobe Suite is a prerequisite. This position has one foot in our New Product Development team, and the other in our Marketing team. The ideal candidate is super-collaborative, infinitely curious and excited to work in a big, busy and brassy group. Responsibilities, Skills: • Concepting, planning, recording, editing, and finalizing videos for social media and other marketing needs. Includes quick day-to-day videos for social media, professional-grade product videos, and the occasional scripted video. • Concepting, designing and exporting graphic imagery for social media and other marketing needs. Includes a mix of product posts, posts about Blue Q’s culture and partnerships, and posts showing our product development process and paid ads. • Working with Sales, Operations, Marketing & NPD to facilitate product launches. • Participating in brainstorming new ideas for products, marketing campaigns, promotions, site content, etc. • Deep knowledge and experience with the Adobe Suite is a must-have, including Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Candidates must share relevant work examples, ranging from the quick-and-dirty to the obsessively polished, and should give a sense of taste and sensibility, as well as technical capabilities. Requirements: This is a full-time, in-person position based in Pittsfield, MA. We are willing to relocate our dream hire to the Berkshires, as we’ve done with other members of our team.
