The role

This is a 1099 role

As a freelance videographer with ATP, you are passionate about producing stunning and compelling visual content across digital channels. From pre- to post-production, you bring your creativity and expertise in filming, lighting, editing, color grading, motion graphics, and storytelling to publish industry-leading videos that connect with audiences.

Reporting to ATP’s Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of video production, from conceptualizing and storyboarding to filming, editing, licensing, and publishing. Whether producing reels, long-form videos, or short bumper ads, you will work with the marketing team in all areas to apply your talents and tell the story of ATP.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and produce all aspects of video projects, delivering stunning visual content of the highest caliber and quality, including:
    • Creative brainstorming and pitching ideas
    • Developing and storyboarding concepts
    • Coordinating travel and production logistics
    • Directly working across departments and with outside organizations to secure resources and production needs
    • Arranging interviews and sourcing talent
    • Lighting
    • Video and audio recording
    • Editing video and audio
    • Color correcting and grading
    • Developing motion graphics
    • Licensing music and clearing rights
    • Cataloging and archiving materials
    • Exporting, formatting, and publishing
  • Collaborate with project teams, departments, and other content producers on conceptualizing and executing video projects that support organizational initiatives and marketing goals
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of ATP’s mission, values, campaigns, and policies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry, company, and departmental developments
  • Lead in the emergence of new trends, techniques, visual styles, and communication channels
  • Seek inspiration from other industries and innovate new creative styles to develop a unique visual identity that is an extension of the ATP brand
  • Adhere to ATP’s brand identity, voice, and best practices, with accuracy and consistency while ensuring others do as well

Qualifications

  • Strong and deep portfolio of work that demonstrates mastery of filming, audio recording, lighting, editing, color grading, and motion graphics
  • Proficiency in video and audio production software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition
  • Experience licensing music for use in commercial video
  • Ability to creatively develop, storyboard, and produce a project from a rough concept or idea to a finished product
  • Up-to-date on industry standards, best practices, and current digital and social landscape, including video requirements and standards of all social media channels
  • Excellent and timely communicator using phone, email, instant message, and project management apps
  • Ability to self-manage time and multi-task projects to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail with the ability to self-proof work
  • Have and able to use your own professional-grade production equipment
  • Live ATP values and understand the ATP customer
  • Aviation knowledge and Remote Pilot Certificate is preferred
  • Strong interest in aviation is required
  • Travel required 25%
