JOB SUMMARY

Oversee documentary & narrative storytelling filmmaking at TPCC.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for leading a team of staff filmmakers and volunteer creatives to create works that inspire our audience into action.

DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS

  • Lead the creation of all films and stories that show the evidence of Gods love for humanity and our response to that love; according to the vision set by the Executive Team and Video Director.
  • Set the direction for all projects and responsibilities related to film production.
  • Lead the creation of visual works including brand specific content for teaching series, event openers, promos and recaps.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team and various ministries to bring visual ideas and stories to life.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to the Video Director and oversees the Film staff and volunteers.

CLASSIFICATION

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt

Full or Part time: Full Time

Work Schedule: (Flexible) Sunday – Thursday

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Stand for extended periods of time

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Team Builder and collaborator
  • Highly Organized
  • Goal Oriented
  • Strong understanding of storytelling and all phases of filmmaking (development, production & post)
  • Strong technical knowledge of the filmmaking process.

PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong technical knowledge in the following:
  • Editing software (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Cinema cameras & lenses
  • Audio capturing, post editing and mastering.
  • Camera rigging systems (MoVi, Easyrig, dollies)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred 4 year college degree in Film or a film related area of study.
  • 2-4 years of experience leading film crews/teams
