Video Editor/Film Production TA InFocus Film School is a growing and dynamic company located in Vancouver, BC. We have seven diploma programs, with our biggest being the Film Production Program. We are looking for a talented Video Editor/Film Production Tutorial Assistant to join our team. Please send your resume and demo reel Job Description: Create and edit videos for use on social media, webinars, and other marketing campaigns. Produce videos from concept to completion. Create and edit video content for use on YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms. Work with our team to create content for print publications and other marketing campaigns. Assist with Cinematography Classes Assist with Sound Classes Trouble shoot technical problems when needed Ability to help students through difficult edits both in sound and picture Assist with Operations and gear sign out when needed Additional Tasks as assigned Qualifications: Ability to work independently; ability to work well under pressure; ability to multi-task; ability to work well under deadlines; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment; Ability to work well in teams of 2 or more; Ability to adapt quickly when changes are made; Experience editing video content (preferred); Experience using DaVinci Editing Suite and or/Adobe Creative Cloud Job Type: Part-time Part-time hours: 16 per week Salary: $20.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement: French not required Ability to commute/relocate: Vancouver, BC V6B 3J5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: video editing: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person
