Producer and Video Editor Fish & Crown Creative is looking for a talented and dedicated video editor and producer to join their team. Fish & Crown is a boutique video production company located in the heart of Rochester, NY. With over 13 years of experience producing high-quality content for manufacturers, national companies, colleges, and more, we have built a lasting reputation in the Rochester community and beyond. Duties and Responsibilities Manage, craft and execute scripted and non-scripted video projects using motion graphics and latest editing techniques. Fully produce video projects from start to finish while ensuring clients’ visions and deadlines are met. Collaborate with video production team on projects and present creative strategies to clients. Assist in the hiring and scheduling of freelance crew members, talent, vendors, and locations on professional productions. Assist on professional video shoots Maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts. Bring new and creative ideas to the table to improve company operations and profitability. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communications, or related field or Associates degree with 2-5 years experience in related field. Proficient video editing skills (Adobe Creative Cloud preferred). Strong sense for storytelling and visual design. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Organized and can manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. Is flexible and composed with changing deadlines, full shoot days, Enjoys troubleshooting. Self starter who brings ideas to the table. Has a background in professional video production and is looking to learn more from a highly experienced team. Nice to have Experience on set; set build and breakdown of lighting, cameras, audio and equipment. Camera and audio operation experience. Knowledge of lighting techniques.
