Job Title: Video Editor, ocV!BE Marketing Pay Details: The annual base salary range for this position in California is $72,031 to $88,038 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations. This is a full-time role at ocV!BE, a mixed-use entertainment and community district surrounding Honda Center. The Video Editor for ocV!BE Marketing requires the ability to produce, shoot, and edit video and digital graphics packages to support all marketing initiatives related to the ongoing phases of the development. The ocV!BE Video Editor will also tell the story of and document the construction of ocV!BE, providing a behind-the-scenes look and interest-based account of the project. The position will also be utilized for a variety of internal video projects as needed. Responsibilities Shoot, edit, produce, and assist with developing concepts for multimedia marketing videos and graphics Assist with storyboarding and brainstorming how to tell the story of ocV!BE and help bring the visual brand language to life in film Operate digital video equipment and associated computer hardware and software Provide production support for cross-functional teams, including social media, sales/ marketing, experience design Manage and organize digital media assets for multi-year projects Work closely with management and staff on determining content strategies to document and market a multi-year construction project Oversee and direct the production of sit-down interviews, including proper lighting, video, and sound quality Operate and fly a drone, following FAA and city safety regulations Coordinate camera positions and monitor time-lapse recordings Assist with script writing, field producing Nurture relationships with local production and post-production crew: lighting, sound, GFX, finishing Support on additional projects for the Anaheim Ducks and Honda Center as requested Demo reel is a must for consideration Skills Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop required Competent in Adobe After Effects Strong knowledge of DSLR cameras and lens types equivalent to Sony FS5 or similar ENG experience helpful Experience with Digital Asset Management systems, metadata, and media delivery software Able to work in an open-office-style editing facility Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to travel as needed Able to remain calm and multitask while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Must be able to work in a team-oriented and creative environment Comfortable in both a corporate and creative setting Must be able to work independently and drive output with little to no supervision while meeting all deadlines Can assist with troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining cameras, lighting gear, and editing systems Can set up audio, video, and lighting equipment in the field Comfortable with heights, climbing ladders, scaffolding, and occasionally walking up to 6-7 miles a day Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays in fluctuating temperatures as required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Education – High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience Required – Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a video production facility or equivalent This position is on-site.
