Responsibilities: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring smooth transitions, proper sequencing, and seamless integration of visual and audio elements. Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements, objectives, and audience preferences. Review and select the best shots or scenes, based on their artistic and storytelling value, and make necessary adjustments to enhance the overall video quality. Apply color grading, visual effects, and other post-production techniques to enhance video aesthetics and create a consistent brand image. Trim and edit footage to align with the script, pacing, and timing requirements. Mix and synchronize audio tracks, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to achieve high-quality audio-visual synchronization. Ensure video content meets technical specifications, including resolution, aspect ratio, and file formats, for various distribution channels (e.g., social media platforms, websites, events). Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in video editing, and make recommendations to improve workflow efficiency and enhance video quality. Manage and organize video assets, maintaining an organized library of raw footage, edited projects, and associated files. Collaborate effectively with other team members, including producers, directors, animators, and graphic designers, to achieve project objectives. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role. Proficient in using video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics. Solid knowledge of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and resolution requirements for different platforms. Experience with color grading, visual effects, and audio editing. Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus. Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate creative ideas.
