Contractor – Independent Consultant – Video Editor Full Job Description: Savvy Marketers LLC is looking for a star video editor on a 2-week Temporary Contract in our Princeton Office. We specialize in creating content for our fortune 500 clients. We’re looking for creative editor with at least 5+ years of experience in creating short and long form, consumer facing digital content. Familiarity with tight storytelling, the social media language, and an understanding of video trends is a must. Our freelance video editor should be able to maneuver in the creative suite to manipulate assets and add a little pop and sizzle to content. Editor Responsibilities: Collaborating with our creative / production team members to understand needs, review scripts, design storyboards, and create and edit videos. Using software and other techniques to produce videos. Listening to feedback and altering videos to better suit our needs. Ensuring that the final product aligns with the needs of the client and is delivered on time without exceeding the budget. Presenting the final animated piece for approval. Using creativity and artistic techniques to tell a story or provide information in visual form. · Researching industry trends and developments and learning new applications. Editor Qualifications: · 7+ Years’ experience in Video editing is a must. Expertise with specific editing / animation software platforms is preferred. · Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Maya, Illustrator, and Photoshop Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and computer skills. Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction. Ability to work independently or with a team to develop animations and solve problems.
