We are seeking a Freelance Video Editor for a brainchild of a multi-faceted gaming and entertainment enterprise. Responsibilities Edit video content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter Utilize a variety of footage from the company’s existing and/or current Tournaments to create digital videos for the above social media channels Skilled at creating and editing stand-out digital video content from concept to completion Manage, direct, thumbnails for all of Champions channels Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met. Stay current on industry trends – keep the brand at the forefront of design, layout, and best practices. Utilize analytics and other data points to ensure optimal performance and interest for all thumbnails. Requirements Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an editor with demonstrated ability to create end-to-end original digital video content that is adaptable to multiple social and digital video platforms. Minimum 2 years of professional experience of using post-production video and graphic editing software in Adobe Suite such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Minimum of 3 years of experience creating YouTube thumbnails Amateur knowledge is a huge plus! Ability to work in a fast-paced environment creatively and effectively. The ability to deeply understand (and align with) the needs, preferences, and tastes of our target demographic. Ability to take direction, effectively present work, and respond positively to feedback. Knowledge and ability to operate basic camera equipment, lighting, and technology. This project has the potential to last longer than 3 months. This position is hybrid, with the ability to be mostly remote.
