Description: OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Freelance Video Editor to produce engaging and captivating video content across various platforms, including web, social media, online streaming, advertising, and other communication mediums. Bonus points if you also have some skills with motion graphics, typography, and 3D animation. You’ll collaborate with our creative team and create digital and video content that aligns with the creative brief and design intent established for each project. KEY AREAS OF CONTRIBUTION We are open to meeting talent with experience in the following areas: Video Editing Edit raw footage into polished and captivating videos that align with the project’s objectives and storytelling goals. Use your artistic flair and technical expertise to enhance visual aesthetics, transitions, audio synchronization, and special effects. Content Collaboration Collaborate with the production team, directors, and other stakeholders to understand the project’s vision and objectives. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, providing creative input and suggestions to enhance the final output. Asset Management Organize and manage video assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly labeled for efficient post-production workflows. Maintain a structured and logical file organization system. Post-Production Handle all aspects of post-production, including color grading, audio mixing, and incorporating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects, as required. Video Optimization Ensure that the videos are optimized for different platforms and delivery formats while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to specific technical requirements. Requirements: ABOUT YOU You deliver projects within agreed-upon timelines and demonstrate strong time management skills. You are open to feedback from the production team and clients professionally and implement necessary revisions to achieve the desired outcome. You bring strong Video Editing skills, including: Expert knowledge and skills in Adobe Premiere Basic skills in Adobe After Effects, including text editing and basic animations Adobe Media Encoder and various video codecs (both production and delivery) Nice to have: experience operating Black Magic cameras It’s nice if you have a bachelor’s or associate degree in visual arts or related area of study, or other related certification and training completed, but this is not a requirement.
