Job Summary: This is a fulltime inhouse editing position at our Windsor, CO office. A regular 40-hour, Monday – Friday work week will be required. You will work directly with our video team and social media manager to assist in everyday tasks, as well as communicating with our real estate agents to assist in their needs. Some assistance with the marketing team will be required as needed, as well as generic daily tasks around the office. As Hayden Outdoors specializes in outdoor real estate, a passion for the outdoors is highly preferred. The Video Editor will work closely with the Production Manager to edit, create, and deliver high-quality video content. Finished products will include property videos, social media clips, real estate agent profile videos, and more. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong desire to learn and grow in the video industry. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong editing skills, excellent customer service and a desire to produce quality content. Duties and Responsibilities: Edit and deliver high-quality video content using our branded design package. Edit property videos for agents’ listings that are filmed by videographers across the country. Create promotional videos for the Hayden Outdoors company and agents when needed. Mine for great video content in our collection of footage and create social media clips. Assist in social media, creating weekly content for multiple platforms. Assist in the creation of promotional videos for various clients. Use of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Develop strong editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software. Perform research on new technologies and techniques. Assist in other duties as assigned by the Production Manager and Marketing Team. Catalogue video content from videographers if needed. Update and edit existing videos when changes are made. Work with voiceover talent to have video V.O. recorded and delivered. Assist in management of the YouTube channel. Organize and catalog footage from yearly shoots. Assist in ongoing projects as a second camera operator as needed. Update Hayden Mercantile Store product photography as needed. Experience: Must be proficient in Davinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Cloud, mainly Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Lightroom. Must have a basic understanding of DSLR cameras, cinema cameras, lighting, and audio Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be organized, professional and self-motivated. Must be able to work with a team in a high paced environment. Passion and interests in the outdoors. Farm and Ranch knowledge is a plus.
