Job Description Shoot and edit 1-2 educational/vlog/life at RMSP style YouTube (https://youtube.com/rmsptv) videos per week, including:  Help capture a-roll Rough-cut a-roll  Create b-roll shot list Shoot b-roll (Forest will model as needed) Shoot epic thumbnail Create final edit with music, color, graphics, and effects As experience level grows, start to play with text effects and other ways to spice up our videos for that extra level of polish – see here for example. Export and post video on YouTube with title, caption, affiliate links, tags, and thumbnail. Edit two weekly vertical Shorts/TikToks/Reels Shoot fresh content, or cut down a section of a longer YouTube tutorial Export for use on mobile Upload to YouTube Give file to Social Media team to upload to IG and TikTok Work on longer marketing video projects – 3-4 longer videos per year Work on a plan with the marketing team Go on student shoots and capture b-roll Interview students Edit and post Maintain the YouTube channel Respond to comments Update old and outdated affiliate links, titles, and tags Manage playlists Watch and comment on other creators videos to build collaboration opportunities Teach video Work with Forest to build the Professional Intensive video curriculum.  Teach video classes with School Director for Professional Intensive and maybe online in the future Be available to help students with their videos throughout the Professional Intensive program Qualifications You need to have a passion for creating videos, education, and video editing. Applicants must be familiar with the YouTube platform and preferably consume content on YouTube regularly. Photography or videography experience is required; however, you can be relatively new to the field.  Familiarity with: Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve), Adobe After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve), Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Word. Working Hours, Pay, and Benefits $16 to $19/hour depending on experience. 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday Paid time off (earned amount increases the longer you work at RMSP) 401K Match (after waiting period) Health Insurance (after six-month probationary period)
