We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. The Production Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our production operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows throughout the entire production process. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the media industry and eager to contribute to the creation of captivating content. Responsibilities: Pre-Production Support: Assist in researching and gathering information for upcoming projects, such as locations, props, and equipment. Help with casting coordination, scheduling auditions, and communicating with potential talent. Collaborate with the production team to prepare call sheets, shooting schedules, and other essential documents. Production Assistance: Support the production crew on set during filming, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Set up and maintain equipment, props, and various production materials as needed. Assist with scene preparation, including lighting, camera setup, and blocking. Coordinate with various departments to facilitate effective communication and organization during shoots. Post-Production Support: Aid in the organization and logging of footage for post-production editing. Assist video editors and sound engineers by providing necessary assets and files. Help in managing digital files and assets, ensuring proper backups and organization. Administrative Tasks: Handle general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining schedules. Arrange travel, accommodations, and logistics for production staff when necessary. Keep track of production expenses and maintain proper documentation. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or courses in film, media production, or related fields are a plus. Familiarity with industry-standard production equipment and procedures is advantageous. Proficient in using computer software, including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
