Videographer and Editor (Content Producer) Role. Learn more at thediversity.org In this role, you will be working in the Diversity Org’s creative department to shoot and edit vibrant, high quality content that showcases our high energy events and brand. The Role Types of content that you will create: B2B Videos (Brand Videos) Social Media Content: (Instagram Reels/TikTok) Internal Videos (Training Materials, Company Videos) The role is hybrid, meaning you can edit some videos off site, but you will join us at our creative space for visionary and editing sessions. You will create content that will be viewed by thousands of people around the world for the biggest brands in the world (Like J.P. Morgan Chase, AT&T, Salesforce, and more) You will have opportunities to travel to major cities within the United States and internationally. Most importantly, you will work with a world class team that impacts tens of thousands of people all across the globe. This role is hybrid – exclusively to the New York City Metropolitan Area. Qualifications Time Flexibility: Some of our team travels frequently and are located in different time zones, so it’s important to have some flexibility to take meetings outside standard business hours. We will make every effort to inform you in advance if this happens. Editing software proficiency: Must have experience in Final Cut Pro & Premier to create full length videos utilizing music, transitions, effects, and good storytelling. Cinematography and Photography skills: Must be familiar with different equipment types (Sony, Canon, DJI Ronin) and be able to shoot video and take photo effectively. Able to lift up to 50 pounds: We will have opportunities for our content producer to travel with our team. In this case, you must be ready to lift and carry camera equipment and lighting equipment up to 50 pounds. Communication and Professionalism: You will be working with some of the biggest companies in the world, as well as a world class team, and entering spaces where you will represent the Diversity Organization face to face. It is imperative to be professional, courteous, and operate with integrity when navigating a corporate environment. Coachable: One of our pillars is community. We care about our team on a deep level and take time to help them reach their professional development goals. Members of our creative department must be ready and willing to work with us to get direction and be coachable so we can help them develop their skillsets even further than what they already are. Must be finished with, or not enrolled in school: While we support your professional and educational endeavors, our team is expanding rapidly and we need someone who is flexible. For this reason, we are not looking for anyone who is currently enrolled in school because we understand that they might have constraints. Feel free to apply after you graduate. General knowledge of technical content creation: Must be aware of different camera settings, lighting, lenses, best practices, technical terms, social media analytics (retention, watch time) and etc. Valid U.S. Driver’s License and Passport / Equivalent: You will be traveling both domestically and internationally, and in some cases also operating a vehicle. You must have a passport, visa, or permanent residency so you can travel within and outside the United States without restrictions.
