About Us: Northeast Wedding Films is a high-end wedding videography company. We are dedicated to delivering top-notch cinematography and exceptional storytelling to our clients. Job Description: We are currently seeking talented and enthusiastic Wedding Videographers/DPs to join our team as both First and Second Shooters. Availability this Fall is a big plus! We have some open spots for shooters, and it will give us an opportunity to work together before the 2024 season. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to film weddings at picturesque locations throughout Vermont. We welcome videographers/DPs with their own camera equipment— 4K, 60fps, and log capability required. Responsibilities: First Shooter: Lead the project on-site, taking charge of capturing primary footage. Utilize your cinematography expertise to film beautiful, emotionally compelling shots that tell the unique story of each wedding. Collaborate with our team to understand the creative vision and specific shots required for each event. Ensure the highest level of professionalism and client satisfaction during the shooting process. Second Shooter: Work closely with the First Shooter and the rest of the team to capture additional angles and B-roll footage. Assist in setting up shots, handling camera equipment, and ensuring all necessary footage is captured. Collaborate with the First Shooter to maintain a cohesive style and approach to filming. Requirements: Previous experience as a wedding videographer or DP, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficient in operating your own camera equipment, capable of delivering high-quality footage. A keen eye for detail, composition, and lighting to capture exceptional shots. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic wedding environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with our team and clients. Passionate about videography, storytelling, and preserving precious moments through your craft. Availability to work on weekends and during peak wedding seasons.
