Our factory, and corporate headquarters, reside in the heart of the mid-west and that’s where our products are engineered, manufactured, and marketed.We’re looking for a Graphic Designer / Videographer to join our team!With Cardinal Scale, you’ll find a mid-size, privately held, family-owned company in a stable, long term growth industry.Summary/ObjectiveThe Graphic Designer/Videographer has a polished, highly creative skill set in design and is responsible for, but not limited to, creating brochures, multi-page booklets, advertisements, logos, videos, and 3D animations using Adobe Creative Suite and related design software for the company’s advertising and marketing projects.Ability to work with Cardinal Scale’s marketing team of other graphic designers, writers, and marketing personnel to develop company product resources.Create advertisements, brochures, catalogs, logos, social media graphics and videos, live action, and 3D.Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects.Ability to absorb highly technical product information and build out well-designed marketing material to convey complex concepts.Photography and videography skills.Ability to ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.Ability to conceptualize visuals based on requirements and to meet company deadlines and goals.Keen eye for aesthetics and details.CompetenciesExternal Customer FocusedCommunication ProficiencyOrganization SkillTime Management SkillsDetailed OrientatedRequired Education and ExperienceFour-year degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or related degree.Strong portfolio with professional examples in advertising, marketing collateral, multi-page booklets, logos, and videos.Preferred Education and ExperienceMaster’s degree in an applicable field, and/or three years of experience directly related to the production, organization, and management of graphic design and videography.3D animation skills are preferred (Blender or Cineware 3D).
