Sound Effects Editor for Enhanced Media in Los Angeles

Enhanced Media is looking to expand its roster of experienced freelance Los Angeles-based film and tv sound effects editors for the immediate future and beyond. All work is to be done on-site. This is not a remote position, so we require candidates to be available in Los Angeles.

Enhanced Media specializes in feature films, shorts, trailers, and commercials whose recent clients include HBO Max, Sony Pictures, Lionsgate, Peacock, BET, Comedy Central, MTV, and more. We are looking for candidates with a similar experience of work.

Qualifications:

Must be open to freelance project-based contract work with a flexible schedule.

Must be located in Los Angeles and be available to work on-site in Reseda, CA.

At least 5 years working as a sound effects editor in film and tv in a post production sound environment with an understanding of professional industry standards.

Must be Pro Tools-oriented and have expert knowledge of its workflow, shortcuts, and able to troubleshoot common issues while working independently.

Excellent communication skills and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

People oriented, and able to work well with others and interface with clients and other contractors, while maintaining a positive attitude.

A desire to contribute, learn, and grow in a collaborative environment.

Working knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Outlook, Calendar) and G-Suite (Docs, Sheets).
