Drive Studios is seeking a VFX Supervisor with experience in compositing and finishing for current and upcoming projects.

We are an award-winning Production and Visual Effects Studio providing start to finish services for music videos, feature films, commercials, virtual productions, AR and VR projects. Our boutique studio is located in Los Angeles, CA in the heart of DTLA.

Responsibilities:

Attending production and VFX meetings and tech scouts

Breaking down scripts and working with producers and CG sups in bidding

Providing on-set supervision of plate and element photography

Leading a team of 2D, 3D, and CG artists, providing guidance and feedback on shots

Assisting in recruitment duties, reviewing reels, making recommendations

Communicating effectively with clients, artists, and management, while guiding a shot from initial concept through final delivery

Traits of a Successful Drive Studios VFX Supervisor:

Experience leading a team of artists in a production environment with the ability to adjust approaches and techniques based on commercial expectations

On-set supervision, script breakdown, and bidding experience

Working knowledge of Matte painting, Maya, Nuke and AE compositing workflows and the fundamentals of CG approaches and techniques

Strong understanding of directory structure, file formats, naming conventions, scripts, automation tools, automated dailies

Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Strong creative and technical abilities

Must be a team player and work well under tight deadlines

Schedule:

Early June 2022 to the end of August 2022.

10 hour shift

Monday to Friday
