We’re looking for a talented Videographer/Editor to join our team.

We love telling stories and we would love for you to help us show a great story. We are seeking a Videographer to work independently taking and editing videos and pictures for promotional use.

To remain competitive, we need to be able to make videos quickly and launch new courses fast. We need someone who knows our business and lives with us daily in it so they can produce content with little direction from us.

We need a can-do attitude; someone willing to adapt, learn and improvise in order to create the best content with a small and efficient team.

We also need someone creative who can help us design marketing content, capture video testimonials and produce content that makes SOS ThreeSixty look cutting edge.

This is a contract for 20 hours per week with the potential to turn into a fill time opportunity!

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Duties

The perfect candidate will collaborate with the company founders to develop engaging content:

  • Create and edit captivating videos (new courses, ads, vlogs, Facebook/Instagram stories etc.) consistent with the SOS ThreeSixty brand.
  • Deliver videos and photos that succinctly and clearly tell the desired story.
  • Lead and direct SOS ThreeSixty team members in videos.
  • Deliver videos with cuts, graphics, sound and other elements that convey a quality production value and a level of technical sophistication.
  • Develop and make video assets for repeat use Intros, outros, titles, info cards, transitions, etc.
  • Assist in managing and running social media platforms, scheduling content, and creating plans/ strategies for expansion.
  • Creatively re-purpose existing footage and project for all platforms.

Relevant Skills and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in visual journalism, filmmaking, videography or similar.
  • Awesome Portfolio of Videos and channels showcasing good consistent engaging content.
  • A strategic and creative thinker who can proactively problem solve.
  • Able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision, and in collaboration with team members.
  • Great Eye: Should be a no brainer but you need to be a great video shooter.
  • Location scouting, shot planning, filming, editing and audio engineering are in your wheelhouse.
  • Fluency with video editing software (Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci, etc.).
  • Experience with Cameras, Stabilizers, Lighting and audio equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Adobe Premier, Photoshop,
  • Proficient editor with a good sense for pacing.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in video form.
  • A true team player attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience in Story Telling and content curation
  • You are able to take a video all the way from conception to publication.
  • Willing to undergo a criminal record/vulnerable sector check.
  • All candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and available to start immediately.
