About the company…
Magnum Opus Studios LLC is a film production team with vested interests in telling foundational stories that ignite, ingross, and unbind the human psyche. Our message is that of the highest love; taking the universe as a part of yourself.
The latin phrase, “Magnum Opus” or “great work” is used to describe an artist’s masterpiece. Originally, the term masterpiece referred to “a piece of work produced by an apprentice or journeyman aspiring to become a master craftsman in the old European guild system”.
Nowadays, Magnum Opus is used to describe a large and important work of art, music, or literature, especially one regarded as the most important work of an artist or writer. Here, we carry that definition over to describe the great work as the culmination of the entire universe throughout all time and space from “beginning” to “end”.
Covering ideas as fundamental as the mind, body, and spirit, we hope to explore territories of film often left unexplored – like this real reality itself. Of course, our company is not interested in leaving behind the Hollywood blockbuster. Instead, we intend to capitalize on the growing interest in spiritually happening globally. With the new age media base currently engulfing the internet, we expect to see even more films made in a similar vein. Our films are intended to draw and engage the everyday consumer, while still attracting and delivering to those with a deeper understanding of the concepts we explore.
At Magnum Opus Studios, we are dedicated to telling the story of all of us, to all of us, for all of us. We certainly can’t call our job work, but a divine privilege and opportunity to fill this world with as much spirit as we can muster.
