Film & Video Editor Atlanta

We are looking for a film & video Editor, with a good sense of what makes an interesting angle to a story, juggle all the moving parts for publications. You will edit content from source footage. The successful candidate will collaborate with the director to decide which ideas should be pursued and which should get dropped in order to meet compelling videos standards. The goal is to provide exceptional, informative and engaging content. You will work along side the director as a collaborative storytelling process. The end result is a series of short films. We can discuss days and hours that work for both of us each week.

Responsibilities

• Proven working experience with MINIMUM of 10 years doing film & video editing
• Strong editing skills and proficient in story telling
• Knows Adobe Suite and Mac
• An eye for detail along with critical thinking
• Prioritizing and multitasking
• BS degree in related field

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Atlanta, GA 30342: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Photo, Film & Video Editors: 10 years (Required)
• Adobe Premiere: 10 years (Required)
