Production Manager

Location: Vancounver, BC

Position Type: Full Time

Reports to: Director of Content Production

As a Production Manager at Daz3D, you’ll be part of a team that has two decades of leadership in the graphic arts, 3D modeling, and animation, and AR/VR markets – pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in 3D art and avatar content creation. We operate a leading global content marketplace for 3D artists and one of the world’s most fun and versatile avatar engines. Whether it’s working directly with consumers, entertainment studios, or leading digital platforms, we push ourselves to find, develop and refine the experiences and tools that are changing how people identify with and explore a world of mixed realities.

You’ll help support our Content Production team in this position, ensuring that the team runs effectively and delivers assets on time. You will work closely with all team members to facilitate communications, solve problems and remove blocks to allow all team members to be effective and productive. You’ll also interact with our published artists, ensuring they have all the necessary pieces of information for their designs and answering their questions or concerns.

Your Impact as a Production Manager

• Manages the Content Production team in day-to-day activities, general production tasks, and tasks on assigned projects
• Collaborate with the product team to launch new materials and offerings
• Creates and updates schedules and tasks
• Dive into metrics and user feedback to deeply understand current and prospective customers and generate insights that shape the future of the product.

You Bring to Daz 3D and Tafi:

• 3+ years of experience in a production environment – game dev or television production
• The ability to juggle multiple projects, work with diverse personalities and work within strict deadlines.
• Experience with project management tools and the ability to communicate and report progress, risk, and dependencies
• Strong time management, communications, and writing skills
• Positive attitude and a strong focus on goals, milestones, and quality
• Ability to identify and remove team roadblocks
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Experience making and shipping a commercial game, Film/TV Show, or software development project
• Experience managing across multiple departments
• Understanding of various production methodologies
