Gas Media Group is looking for a Production Assistant to join our team! This opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about the media and production space.

The Production Assistant will provide support to the video production team.

What will you be doing?

• Provide support for the video production team
• Assist with coordinating and corresponding with talent for production shoots
• Assisting the production team with lights, cameras and set up where needed
• Keeping track of product/brands and inventory
• Research and pitch video concepts/ ideas
• Handling paperwork related to production
• Preparing and maintaining all equipment for respective shoots

What do we require from you?

• High School diploma required
• Basic knowledge of lighting, audio, and cinematography
• Prior experience with Sony DSLR cameras preferred but willing to train
• Prior production experience at entry-level or internship-level preferred.
• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, a great attitude and overall enthusiasm.
• Ability to multitask

What you’ll need

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Highly-organized & Punctual
• Possess a valid drivers license car for running local errands
• Familiarity with computers, databases and Office Suites, Word & Excel
• Positive attitude, self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
