Hi everyone, I hope you doing great. Seeking for GAFFER for short film “Sinking”, produced by PARADOX FILMS, NYC local film studio.
STORY:
Sinking is a story about the inner world of a man that’s experiencing Kodokushi. Yamasaki, a nobody disconnects from society and is not able to find a job due to his mental state. Isolating himself inside out, not willing to accept any help, he sinks deeper into the void and eventually is devoured by the madness he built himself. The ending has been destined but is it an emancipation or is it just a way of escaping.
THEME:
KODOKUSHI
The death of a person usually has two stages: First the physical death, when one’s heart stops pounding, and the brain stops working. Then the second stage: the social death which is when one’s existence is being completely wiped out just like they’ve never been on this earth.

Shooting Location: Bushwick Brooklyn, NY
Rate: $350/day, MUST including equipment
(1-2 lighting ONLY and grip (apple box, c-stands, sink, etc…)
