Video Editor in Atlanta $50k/yr

Mountain Top Studios is an Atlanta based production company. Due to steadily increasing demand, we can no longer edit the videos we shoot on a weekly basis in-house. We’re looking for experienced editors of various skill levels to edit several videos on a weekly basis.

After initial training period this will be primarily a remote position; files and hard drives will be delivered to you and picked up weekly. There is also an option to work in our in-house editing studio. The schedule for this position is very flexible. We want to work with you to establish 3-4 consistent workdays throughout the week. Payment is weekly and will be based on skill level and availability. We want to do our best to cater to the projects you work on to your specialties (commercials, music videos, weddings, real estate, training videos).

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality edits with a fast turn around time
• The majority of edits will be assembly and cutting up footage
• Own a powerful enough computer to handle 4k files
• Working knowledge of Premiere Pro and/or FCPX

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience editing (college students welcome)
• MUST have powerful editing computer sufficient for rendering 4k files in real-time
• advancement proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or FCPX
• Need to work at least 3/4 days a week
• Knowledge or understanding of basic video production.
• MUST provide an example of a finished project or most recent reel
• Metro Atlanta based applicants HIGHLY PREFERRED

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
