Searching for a passionate production assistant to join a team of USC film students and alumni as they work on a social justice short film titled “Heart of Compton,” a low budget short about an interracial couple fighting for justice when a Black teen is killed in their community.

The film is sponsored by Panavision in its New Filmmaker Program.

Film dates will occur in Feb. 18 to Feb. 25. Check out the film: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/unspoken-vows#/.

Shooting will be around Los Angeles and in Compton.

The pay is a flat fee of $150 plus credit and lunch. The film is really low budget and everyone is working on it because they believe art is protest and want to make a difference.

• Assist in DIT, setting up set, and helping with crafty and lunches
• Working closely with the producers

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $150.00 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Weekend availability

All crew are required to show proof of vaccination. This is a low budget film, and everyone will be masked on set and be vaccinated.
