What we are looking for.

We are looking for a Production Assistant who has a passion for creativity and is able to support our photographers.
This role will be based out of our Toronto Head Office.

What you would be doing.

  • Responsible for providing production support for photographers at any stage of the New or Existing Product Development or Product Launch Campaign.
  • Support the Photographers with new Product Campaigns, ideation, production and various tasks
  • Source materials, resources, props etc. as required for production of photography projects or campaign plans
  • Assist with any photography task related with the Product Development stage, such photographing prototypes, create quick 2D mockups
  • Assist to organize campaign plans, such creating prop lists, checking product samples, preparing equipment for the shooting session
  • Assist with photography projects and provide support for day to day tasks, and ongoing projects, especially in art setting and edition.
  • Demonstrate and communicate new concepts, ideas, technical and creative visions to Senior Photographers
  • Ensure all creative work is of highest quality and reflects brand standards
  • Contribute to ongoing alignment with other departments on project objectives and requirements when running a Product Launch Campaign.
  • Ensure all production materials are properly organized prior any shooting or campaign schedule.
  • Maintain administrative data and ad-hoc production tasks
  • Actively learn and grow by improve working knowledge and other related production activities
  • Be a supportive member to the New Product Development team and Creative department and contribute to ongoing team support

What skills and qualifications do you need?

  • Proficiency with all photography equipment
  • Strong understanding of, color, cinematography, visual framing approach and theory
  • Passion for creativity & visual design and ability to conceptualize out-of-the box ideas
  • Solid organization and time management skills, detail oriented
  • Ability to focus and work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both written and oral and ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in film, video, photography and audio production is an asset
