PAID – TORONTO
LaRue Entertainment is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
Reporting to the Staff Accountant, the Accounting Assistant will be responsible for a variety of administrative accounting duties. Job duties include but are not limited to:
  • Daily bookkeeping
  • Managing financial documents/filing
  • Assist in reconciling bank transactions
  • Preparing invoices
  • Analyze financial information in order to identify discrepancies
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
  • Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
  • Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Perform other general accounting/office duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of GSuite, Microsoft Suite & Quickbooks
  • High attention to detail, very organized and excellent communication skills
  • Exposure to the Film & TV industry is preferred, but a desire to gain a better understanding of Entertainment accounting will be required.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem solving skills
