Introduction
Our team at MARZ is looking forward to expanding our Production team. We are actively looking for a Production Assistant/Intern with relevant experience. This position will be reporting to the Central Production Manager.

Monsters Aliens Robots Zombies (MARZ) is a Toronto-based VFX studio that started in 2018. We have been delivering feature-film quality on TV timelines. Having worked on series such as WandaVision (Disney+), Watchmen (HBO), The Umbrella Academy (Netflix), The Expanse (Amazon Prime), Living With Yourself (Netflix), and various other shows.
We are actively pursuing remote working relationships.
Position Overview
- Take notes during production meetings and quickly provide a report.
- Take part in internal and external validations, add comments in the asset manager (Shotgun), all under the supervision of the department manager(s).
- Perform all other related tasks with efficiency.
- Organize their work and prepare the presentations for the validations.
- Research and communicate all necessary information.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, mainly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and project management.
- Ability to prioritize, meet the deadlines and adapt to changes during the production.
- Knowledge of Shotgun is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and to keep a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working as a team player.
- Passion for visual effects and cinema.
