STORYLINE:
In the bitter cold of a bunker, the sun is engulfing the earth to a blaze. Gold, crude & cranky, suspends himself in an awfully heated memory, in an attempt to restrain himself from any family grudges and cultural clashes.

CASTING:

GOLD (ADULT) – LEAD ROLE – MALE – 60-80 YRS OLD
2 SCENES
Gold is accepting, quiet, monk-like almost. He’s more in-tune with sadness than anger. He, although doesn’t hold a grudge, never forgets.

GOLD (YOUNG) LEAD ROLE – MALE – 20-30 YRS OLD
1 SCENE 
Gold is bitter, irritable, refusing to acknowledge his loathing. He is talkative, nonetheless, and his oddball humour is the defining trait that makes him human.

FRIDA’S MOM – LEAD ROLE – FEMALE – 40-60 YRS OLD
1 SCENE 
Frida’s Mom is old-fashioned. Small talk is her thing. She doesn’t mind it, she prefers it. Confrontation isn’t. She’s morose, but tries her best to hide it, in attempt not to spread the misery.

FRIDA – LEAD ROLE – FEMALE – 20-30 YRS OLD 
1 SCENE 
Frida is easy, considerate and would think about the smallest of things for a lifetime. Specific with how one should present themselves, her curiosity makes her unsure of how to react. She’s Gold’s lover.
