On-Set VFX Data Wrangler

Western FX Studios is looking for an On-Set VFX Data Wrangler for our Netflix
Original television series. This person will be responsible for collecting and organizing
all relevant camera measurements, reference photography, and HDRIs from set.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Capture camera and plate data of VFX shots, including reference photos, placing
tracking markers, and capture HDRIs
• Uploading, logging, back up of all on-set data and photos daily

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of 2 years in a similar role in the VFX or Gaming industry
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
• Familiarity with DSLR cameras
• Able to communicate and work well in a team environment

Western FX Studios is part of a boutique Post Production facility in Vancouver, Canada
that creates visual effects for a stable, long-running client base – Air Bud Entertainment.
We strictly follow all labour standards, pay proper OT after 8hrs.

We’re best known for the family classics: Air Bud, MVP, the Air Buddies franchises, the
Pup Star franchise, and our Emmy nominated series, Pup Academy.
We also completed the Warner Brothers feature film, “Cats and Dogs 3: Paws Unite”, as
well as shots for the NBC hit-show “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist”.
Our latest Netflix Original series, “Scaredy Cats”, is currently #3 on Netflix for childrens
programming!

Hiring will commence immediately. The Production has a 6-week shoot in Victoria, BC
from Oct 29th – Dec 11th, 2021.
Accommodations, ferry travel, and per diem will be paid for through Production.
Preference will be given to BC Residents.
