Hello! We’re a team of Ryerson RTA students working on our thesis film: “Tiger Mom”.
We’re seeking a 1st AC, 2nd AC, Grip, and Drivers/
PAs to join our production team. This is a volunteer opportunity as it is a low-budget student film. You will receive film credits, and your meals and gas fees will be covered.
Our shooting dates are: Oct 15th, Oct 16th, Oct 17th, Oct 23rd, Oct 30th, Oct 31st, & Nov 1st. If you’re unavailable for some of these dates, we’d still be happy to hear from you!
We need Drivers/PAs who can do equipment pick ups and drop offs on the 18th, 22nd, 25th, 29th, or/and Nov 2. Valid G or G2 license needed. Must be comfortable driving a u-haul truck.

Synopsis:

An Asian-Canadian teen trapped under the suffocating direction of his tiger mom rebels for the first time.
“Tiger Mom” is a short drama that follows Kevin, a highschool senior stuck in a strained relationship with his strict and demanding single mother. Initially caught between his feelings of obligation to her and his own desire for independence, he ultimately decides to rebel and sneak out after his love interest invites him to a party. However, his night of rebellion doesn’t pan out the way he hoped
