PA for CG Series in Vancouver

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a junior/new graduate to get their foot in the door at our studio to learn as well as experience the exciting world of Animation. Our Vancouver studio is looking for a Production Assistant to join our team on an exciting CG Series.

Since its inception over 20 years ago, Atomic Cartoons has created and produced numerous 2D and CG animation productions including Last Kids on Earth and Hello Ninja. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Organize files on Autodesk Shotgrid and the server.
• Distribute materials to production teams via email.
• Support the production team with clerical tasks.
• Assist Production with organization of and distribution of equipment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• A Great Attitude!
• Able to take direction and multi-task.
• Technically savvy and proficient.
• Able to work and communicate effectively in a collaborative, fast paced environment.
• Able to prioritize tasks and to meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in the film or animation industry is an asset.
• An understanding of CG animation/pipeline is an asset.
• Prior experience with Autodesk Shotgrid is an asset.
• Currently legally entitled to work in Canada.
• BC residents are preferred for this role.
