Job Position(s): Cinematographer
Project Type: Documentary
Job Date: Oct 14 - 15
Compensation: $600/day
Union Status: Non-Union

I am looking for a cinematographer with their own gear for a two-day documentary film shoot in Uptown, Thursday (14th) and Friday (15th), with the possibility of a third day Wednesday the 13th. I am offering $600 per day plus any expenses incurred.

We will be following an historian as he gives a small group a tour of some historic buildings, so I am hoping you will have some kind of rig (shoulder rig, monopod, etc) that will allow us to have flexibility. The film is about an expert on architectural history, so we will also be filming building exteriors and interiors, including details and possibly B-roll of the street. These should not be excessively long days, expect a max of 8 hours.

I would like to shoot in 4K or 6K so I am ideally hoping to find someone with a mid-range cinema camera (eg Red Komodo, Blackmagic) but I will be happy to consider offers for other cameras. If you have a decent shotgun or other mic for recording audio, that is a plus (but not necessary, I am exploring bringing on somebody for audio). I can pay in cash or electronically at the end of each day of shooting.

Please send a reel of your work! I will be very happy to discuss details with you.
