Skydance Animation is seeking a Production Coordinator for its first animated series. Candidates should have previous professional Animation experience, a passion for production management, and the ability to prioritize and manage the workflow of the department and overall show needs. #animation
Responsibilities

- Partners and assists the Production Manager in all support needs (artist check-in’s, scheduling meetings, updating schedules, documents, timecards, expense reports, meals, etc.)
- Tracks the show(s) progress via Shotgun data entry and extractions
- Coordinates the preparation of pre-production materials for shipping, organizing, labeling, copying, and obtaining approvals
- Processes materials – starting with design file creation through final frame checking
- Coordinates crew meetings
- Takes notes and provides crew updates via email, check-ins, and crew meetings
- Delivers and preps any required files/materials for Reviews: Director, Executive, and all other Stakeholder check-ins
- Organize and maintain systems for monitoring production flow and artist needs
- Establishes show files, supporting the department schedules, labeling materials clearly and neatly with all necessary information
- Manages day-to-day Shotgun data entry and report extractions
- Confirms shipments to vendor via email and confirmation forms
- Assists the Production Manager with tracking the shows progress, quotas, deadlines, and inventory, including flagging potential issues or delays
- Runs point on internal and vendor e-mails in a timely manner
- Completes storyboard breakdowns for visual development and asset build requirements (Characters, Environments, Matte Painting)
- Coordinates requests and monitors distribution of materials including Storyboards, Visual Development, and Designs for internal and external Stakeholders
- Support Show Leadership directives
- Assists on special projects for awards and festivals
Qualifications

- 2+ years of previous animation production experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and file sharing programs
- Working knowledge of Shotgun, Storyboard Pro, Photoshop – Illustrator a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
- BA/BS preferred
