Camera Operator $20/hr

Tej TV is seeking a reliable, secure, trustworthy videographer for a yoga website with daily morning live streaming and monthly workshops.

The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, creative, efficient and has a passion for excellence.

Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking and technological skills are a must.

Two to three years of professional camera livestream and editing experience necessary.

Your three main responsibilities will be:

1. Test and run a successful livestream event as scheduled.

2. Operate the camera while managing the broadcast system.

3. Manage and organize footage onto multiple backup drives, and oversee all written material for archival records.

YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS:

• Operate the daily set up and break down of professional camera and audio equipment

• Daily testing of video and audio quality for online live streaming

• Operate the camera equipment, website, and Open Broadcast System simultaneously with ease

• Monitor playback throughout the livestream

• Communicate with Operations Manager on content material information

• Organize all video production files on multiple back up drives

• Editing as needed

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of professional experience as a livestream videographer

• 2+ years experience editing film

• Technologically savvy in the world of computers, camera, and audio

• Strong Problem solving skills with experience in troubleshooting

• Strong multi-tasking skills

• Excellent communication skills

• An eye for photo and video framing

• Experience with operating a broadcasting system and running livestream events

• Experience in operating professional camera equipment, mixing board, audio, and lighting equipment

• Carries a focused and calm disposition behind the camera

• Enthusiastic about learning new technological equipment

Pluses:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites (i.e. Premiere Pro, Photoshop, inDesign)

• You’ve worked in an entertainment or media company before.

Must be based in Los Angeles with your own car.
