Full Job Description
Limit Break Media is a recent startup that is dedicated to telling 10,000 stories by 2030. You will be tasked with using your skills and experience to tell stories and create content in the most creative and emotional way possible. Our goal is to supply you with the consistent financial freedom and security needed to allow you to donate your time to finding positive and inspiring stories while educating our community through creative visual content and workshops.
Our Collective will have first dibs on any Limit Break Media project. We serve to create content for corporations and individuals who are also interested in sharing stories on their immense platforms. Our services will be catered toward those looking to market through content: Fully immersive storytelling, Corporate Cinema, Custom Brand Originals, etc.
We are currently looking for talented cinematographers who also edit their work. You will work directly under the creative director to create cinematic content. As of our October ‘21 Launch, you will have access to our team of production and editing assistants as well our Long Island virtual-production studio (coming this Winter). Our preferences are towards organized individuals with a passion and excitement for storytelling, and educating our community. You will receive a percentage of the budget for any project worked on, depending on your role(s).
Please submit a resume with your cinematography/editing portfolio. Please make sure it is clear what your role is for each reel. Bonus points if you can include up to 6 of your favorite stills from any projects you have shot.
Those selected will be given an opportunity to fill out a questionnaire and schedule a zoom interview. The chosen few will receive a contract to join the Limit Break Collective.
Comprehensive SKILLS we are looking for:
- Cinematographer (composition, lighting, and emotion)
- Editor (immersive storyteller, sound enhancements, color grading)
- Organized (Experience on set working with a team and collaborating with director)
- Student (Always looking to improve on your craft and learn new ways to tell stories)
- Mentor (Dedicating your time to mentor others on how you tell stories cinematically)
Preferred Skills:
- Should have intermediate to advanced experience with Cinema Cameras, Lighting, & Adobe Creative Cloud (Premier Pro, After Effects)

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
