Prolific Vancouver Film and Television Production company is looking for a 2nd Assistant Production Coordinator/Production Office Assistant. This is a full time position primarily Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend day required. Our work day schedule can also fluctuate – there may be rare occasions where the person in this position will begin work at 4pm and work until 2am the following day. Applicants must be technologically inclined, possess attention to detail, and must have a vehicle, computer, and a cell phone . In addition, applicants must work well under pressure, be adept to multitasking, and maintain a calm disposition in a fast paced work environment. Previous experience in the film and television production industry is preferred but not essential, as we would prefer to train the right person that would be a good fit for our Production Office team.

This is an excellent entry level non-union opportunity for someone eager to learn and become a valuable member of the Vancouver film and television production community – mainly contributing to the production of made for TV Movies and New Media. This position provides the opportunity to work with and learn about the various departments that contribute to the overall production and completion of a motion picture product for television, theatrical release, and/or new media.

This position is 10 to 12 hours per day at $213 per day plus $25/day for your vehicle – 80% of gas for your vehicle is covered as well.

Duties include:
Answering phones, ordering lunch for Producers, production personnel not on set and office staff, ordering office supplies, bottled water, paper, and other necessities for the production office as needed. Distribution of production paperwork (digital & hard copy), making sides, liaising with the Set as needed, emailing out lunch & wrap reports, and the occasional lifting of heavy items or equipment. Applicants must have a good working knowledge of Dropbox and other online distribution platforms, as well as word processing software and applications such as Word & Adobe Acrobat.
