Full Job Description

Pongo Productions is looking for a Post Production Coordinator to assist with the production and delivery of content for a variety of platforms including streaming, broadcast, cable and social.

While this is an entry-level position, you will be at the center of a team working with essential creative, executive, and production positions where everyday can have new demands of you. This position must be a problem-solver, someone who is able to handle their daily tasks and then go above-and-beyond to see what is coming next. Previous experience as a production coordinator means you know what usual responsibilities come with the job: slates, scripts, sending and receiving materials, being the go-between for creatives and clients, QCing, tedious attention-to-detail tasks – the list can go on. If you’re new to the idea of a production coordinator, these tasks will become part of your everyday life.

The most promising part of being a production coordinator? You get to interface with every aspect of the post-production workflow and you will learn more than you can imagine from some of the best and most talented people in entertainment marketing while you do it. Plus, Pongo always starts our ‘new hire’ searches within the company; always reviewing our team for possible promotions from within before going outside.

By working in a smaller creative entertainment marketing agency, everyone will know your name, your strengths and weaknesses, and be aware of your contributions which means you would be an essential part of our team at Pongo.

Experience + Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Television or Film production or 1-2 years related experience (e.g., streaming service, television network, major film studio, advertising agency, etc.)
Experience with post-production, editing, media file types is required.
Adobe Premier editing and Adobe After Effects experience is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, & Word).
Knowledge of workflow/tracking program is a plus.
